To do this we are developing creamy functional ingredients from non-GMO yeast to be sold as B2B ingredients. Your mission
As a Postdoctoral Researcher in Fermentation/Bioprocess, you will play a crucial role in the development and upscaling of our bioprocesses. You will support our efforts in the state-of-the-art laboratory of our partner university ZHAW, ensuring the successful transition of innovations from concept to scalable operations. Collaborating closely with our team, you will be instrumental in refining our processes and methodologies.
Note: the availability of this position depends on a grant, which we are currently applying for. Final confirmation will follow once funding has been secured. The position would be provided on the principle by the university.
What you need to succeed

PhD in Fermentation Science, Biotechnology, or equivalent -
Experience with microbial screening methods

Proficiency in analytical techniques for bioprocess monitoring and optimization

Strong background in statistical data analysis and interpretation

Experience with benchtop/pilot bioreactors

Experience with bioprocess intensification and scale-up
-
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

A proactive attitude

Willingness to learn quickly new things
