About Cultivated Biosciences

We're building a world in which animal-free dairy is the better choice for everyone.

​Our mission is to empower plant-based dairy to give it the creaminess and mouthfeel consumers strive for.

To do this we are developing creamy functional ingredients from non-GMO yeast to be sold as B2B ingredients. We have just raised our seed round and are transitioning from the lab to the market.

Your mission

As Food Processing Intern you will be responsible for supporting the effort to develop processes to efficiently extract our indulgent cream. You will work with downstream engineers, fermentation scientist, and food technologists to ensure we extract a delicious ingredient in a price competitive way. You'll be working on production, the optimization and the scaling of our process!

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor or Masters in Engineering, Food Processing,  Process Engineering or equivalent

  • Initial experience in lysis and separation technologies

  • Understanding of protein and lipid chemistry

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude

  • Willingness to learn new things quickly
